Visiting the Church for the First Time

If you are visiting Coley for the first time, please be assured that you will be very warmly welcomed.  There are always people on the door to greet you and if you need help in finding your way around, they will ensure you receive it.

Should you want someone to sit with you, we can arrange that, though we are mindful that sometimes people who are new prefer to be on their own.  You must do what is right for you.

The person leading the service will always ensure you know where to find the hymns and anything else you need, but do ask if you are lost.  Generally, we are a free and easy Church and so it is usually a case of do whatever feels comfortable to you. 

If you are used to sitting for prayer, when others are kneeling, then sit as we encourage people to foster their own relationship with God and not confirm to one we impose.
